FAQ
How accurate are the fuel and toll figures?
Defaults use real Malaysian figures as of July 2026 — PLUS Class-1 toll rates, BUDI95 RON95, floating RON97/diesel, and typical EV charging rates. Every number is editable, so you can match this week's price or your exact route.
Does it compare public transport?
Yes. Pick a preset route (Penang–KL, KL–JB, KL–Ipoh, etc.) and it shows express bus, ETS train and flight fares per person and for your whole group, plus the break-even number of passengers where driving becomes cheaper.
Can I calculate for an EV?
Yes — choose an EV and set the split between cheap home/AC charging and pricier DC fast charging. It shows kWh used and total charging cost, and how much charging at home first would save.
What about motorcycles and lorries?
Motorcycles are included and treated as toll-free (as on most Malaysian highways). Diesel pickups and a 1-tonne lorry are included too, using diesel pricing and their own consumption.
What is 'wear & tear'?
An optional per-km estimate for servicing, tyres and depreciation — the real cost of putting distance on a vehicle beyond just fuel. It's off by default so you can see pure running cost first.
